The maintenance of the reducer is very simple, as long as the lubricating oil regularly, the internal vulnerable parts of the reducer regularly, you can ensure the normal operation of the reducer.Specific points are the following aspects:

1.       Periodic replacement of lubricating oil:

A.       After the first use or new worm replacement, replace the lubricating oil for 150-400 hours, and the later oil change cycle is less than or equal to 4000 hours.

B.       Check the component and quality of the oil regularly, keep enough lubricating oil, and replace the oil mixed with impurities or deteriorated oil in time.

C.       Oil injection shall be mixed according to the requirements of the table. Oil with different numbers is not allowed to mix oil with the same number and different viscosity.

D.       The operating ambient temperature of the reducer is-40~+ 40 °C.When the current ambient temperature is below 0 °C, the lubricant must be heated to above 0 °C or with a low setting point before starting.

Inspection of oil level

Cut off the power supply to prevent an electric shock!Wait for the speed reducer to cool down!

Remove the oil level screw plug and check that the oil is full.

Install the oil level screw plug.

Open the oil screw plug and take the oil sample.

Check the viscosity index of the oil:

---If the oil is obviously cloudy, it is recommended to replace it as soon as possible.

For a speed reducer with an oil-level screw plug:

---Check the oil level for qualification

---Install the oil level screw plug.

Replacement of oil

After the oil increase after cooling, the reducer shall change oil at operating temperature.

Cut off the power supply to prevent the exit point!Wait for the speed reducer to cool down until there is no combustion danger!

Note: The reducer shall be kept warm during oil change.

Place a oil pan under the release screw plug;

The reducer opens the oil level screw plug, vent and oil discharge screw plug;

Remove all of the oil;

Install the oil release screw plug;

Pour in a new oil with the same license number;

The oil quantity shall be consistent with the installation position;

Check the oil level at the oil level screw plug;

Tighten the oil level screw plug and ventilator.

2.       Regularly replace the vulnerable parts inside the reducer

Since there are many parts of the reducer are vulnerable parts, we have to do regular "physical examination" of the reducer.Check whether the internal parts are under wear. If wear is found, it should be timely replaced, so as to ensure the normal operation of the reducer.Common vulnerable parts mainly include: gears, oil seal, bearing.Let's introduce it one by one.

A.       The gear is the core component inside the reducer. When the reducer works, the gear and the gear engage to achieve the effect of the power transmission.Because the gear is generally made of 20CRMNTI material, the operation speed is very high, generally can reach about 1500 rpm, and then under such a high-speed operation, the gear is very easy to wear.So we have to be every once in a while, to do a thorough inspection of the reducer gear, to do timely discovery, timely replacement.

B.       The reducer produces a lot of heat, which causes the temperature inside the reducer to rise sharply.The oil sealing material is generally made of rubber materials, which is easy to change under high temperature conditions, which will make the lubricating oil seep out from the part of the oil seal variant, which will also affect the use of the reducer.Therefore, we should observe the leakage of the reducer lubricating oil at ordinary times. Once the reducer oil leakage problem is found, replace the oil seal in time, and then supplement the right amount of the lubricating oil, so as to ensure the normal operation of the reducer.

C.       Bearing is also a common vulnerable piece.Because the reducer is generally running at high speed, the bearing is also running at high speed, which is very easy to cause bearing damage, so we usually observe the operation of the reducer, once the reducer is abnormal phenomenon, we should check the bearing in time, if there is damage, to do replacement in time.

 

Finally, we summarize that in the maintenance of the reducer, we must do the following points:

1.       Do not gravity hammer the reducer housing to avoid damage.

2.       Regular maintenance and installation foundation, seal, transmission shaft are normal.

3.       In normal use, the minimum temperature of the lubricant shall be less than 85 °C.When the oil temperature and temperature rise are abnormal and abnormal noise occurs, it must be stopped immediately and checked before troubleshooting.

4.       New vulnerable parts must be formally used after running off and load experiments.
